For this point on I am making no more predictions about teams that I want to win. I predicted the Bulldogs to win. They didn't even score. I predicted the Saints to win. No marching took place. I am, however, going to make predictions for teams I can't stand. Ole Miss - win. UK - win. Auburn - win. If they do win, I will keep my mouth shut.

Yeah Hank, we're ready

It's Thursday boys and girls, and you know what that means... Opening night of football!!!! Colts vs. Saints.
While I'm now a mid-west girl and am surrounded by millions of Colts fans, my shouts and cheers will be only for the boys from the Dirrttty Dirrtty tonight. Drew, Deuce, Reggie, Will Smith, Charles Grant... Jammal, Jamar, Jeff, Jahri and Jon are going to march right over those Colts.
In what could possibly be a preview of the next Superbowl, the current Superbowl champs are going down faster than a crack-ho in Compton (Not that I've ever been anywhere near Compton. But one would guess...). However, I have to hope that Peyton has a somewhat decent night, since he is my fantasy QB. But I have a feeling that the Saints offense isn't going to be fazed by the Colts defense.
Reggie Bush is the man. Reggie Wayne is the man. Who's the bigger man?

3) Kristian Alfonso - 44
Most of you know Kristian as the most incredible actress on daytime television, who plays the most brilliant role ever written for an actress, Hope Brady.
Fancy Face began her career as a figure skater and gold medal champion at the Junior Olympics. But when she was 13, she had some crazy tobogganing (that sounds so much cooler than sledding) accident, thus ending her skating career. Because she had such a fancy face, she then began modeling. By the time she was 15 she had appeared on the cover of over 30 magazines, including Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Because she wasn't a cokehead by the age of 17 and hadn't been arrested yet, she rarely made the cover of US Weekly or InTouch.
Fancy Face was first seen on TV, playing opposite Rock Hudson in the TV movie The Starmaker in the best year ever, 1981. Her career took off in April 1983 when she started playing Hope Williams on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. Fancy Face fell in love with that beefcake, Beau Brady.
Fancy Face left the show when I was starting first grade. I vaguely remember her being on an island somewhere and something blew up. But that could have also happened in 1997 too, so who knows. She realized that she couldn't really act worth a crap and would never be a movie star, so she returned to Days briefly from April to July 1990; this return culminated in the entire town of Salem believing that Hope had died.
She tried to be a movie star again, but sucked, so she returned to the show for a third time in May 1994 as "Gina," an amnesiac who looked a lot like Hope. She ended up being Hope, but not before a drawn-out storyline involving evil Stefano DiMera brainwashing Hope into believing she was Princess Gina von Amburg. Yeah, I really believed she was Gina. And a princess.
A lot of other crazy stuff happens to her, but it's all so stupid that I can't write about it. I do remember her being on a couple episodes of Baywatch once. Her character was a total crazy b-atch and was trying to kill CJ or somebody. I think she got shot. Poor Fancy Face. She has bad luck out in the water.

2) Dweezil Zappa - 38
D. Weezy is the son of one of the most brilliant men to ever grace the face of the earth, one of my personal musical idols, Mr. Frank Zappa. Frank Zappa not only explored his creativity musically, but also in the naming of his children. Other Zappas include: Moon Unit, Ahmed & Diva. She better work. Dweezil's registered birth name was Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa. But only because those bitchy nurses at the hospital where he was born refused to register him under the name Dweezil. The name was what Frank called an oddly-curled pinky-toe of his wife. That's f'in disgusting. He was always called "Dweezil" by his family and was unaware that this was not the name on his birth certificate. Upon this discovery at the age of seven, he insisted on having his nickname become his legal name. His parents hired an attorney and soon the name Dweezil was official.
Like his father, Dweezil was also very into music. In '80s, he worked as a MTV VJ. He can be seen in the music video for Don Johnson's top 40 song, "Heartbeat." Dweezil also played co-lead guitar on Winger's cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze."
He not only plays music, he also acts. Dweezil can be seen in the Schwarzenegger movie The Running Man as Stevie ("Don't touch that dial!"), and gave his most famous cameo role in Molly Ringwald's brat-pack movie Pretty in Pink as Andi's friend, Simon.
In the mid '90s, Dweezil voiced the character Ajax Duckman on the animated series Duckman. He also briefly appeared in the television sitcom Normal Life with sister Moon Unit Zappa and former Laverne and Shirley star Cindy Williams. He composed and performed the theme music for The Ben Stiller Show. He also had a small role in the Michael Keaton movie Jack Frost in 1998, along with Moon Unit and musician Henry Rollins.
In 2006, Dweezil organized the "Zappa Plays Zappa" tour. He assembled a band of young musicians with a view to bring the music of Frank Zappa to a younger audience. The tour also features guest appearances by Steve Vai, Napoleon Murphy Brock and Terry Bozzio. I was supposed to go see them when they played here in Louisville, but for some reason I couldn't. What was that reason? Does anyone know? Beuller? If it's the last thing I do, I WILL see a Zappa playing some damn Zappa. You dig?
