What ever happened to Scott Bakula?
I wonder if it's a coincidence that one of my all-time favorite shows first aired on my birthday, way back in 1989. Every week I tuned it to see who and where Sam Beckett would be next. With the help of his sidekick Al and the all-knowing Ziggy, Sam goes from being a pregnant teenage girl, a blind concert pianist, a chimpanzee in space and a beauty pageant contestant. Along the way he runs into Stephen King, Buddy Holly, Margaret Thatcher, Marilyn Monroe and Donald Trump. But after all of that leaping, where is Scotty B. now?
Scott followed his run in Quantum Leap in 1993 by posing on the cover of Playgirl. From then on I only thought of him as Scott Packula. Get it? Pack? Like packing. Oh forget it. Following showing his junk to the world, Scotty B. starred in Major League, Back to the Minors, American Beauty, and in Star Trek Enterprise.
Scotty can currently be seen in the film American Body Shop, as well as the Lifetime original movie, Blue Smoke.
