Who's the leader of the club...

...that's made for you and me? Well, if it's made for you and me, then it is probably either you or me.

Today marks the 52 anniversary of the premiere of the show to launch 1000, or more like 15 stars - The Mickey Mouse Club.

Now, all of you old people were around for the black and white version with stars like: Annette Funicello, Bobby Burgess, Lonnie Burr or Doreen Tracy (who oddly enough was Frank Zappa's publicist at one time.) However, for those of you not headed toward the nursing home, you will remember the show from the 90's.

I couldn't wait to get home after school everyday, grab a bag of vinegar and salt potato chips and a root beer, run to my room and turn on the Disney Channel. "Ah Mickey Mouse rock the house. Ah Mickey, ah Mickey Mouse rock the house."

First of all I had the biggest crush on Damon and JC (yes, the future Nsyncer)and Tony Lucca. MMC was the best show ever. It came on right after Kids Incorporated - K...I...D...S YES!. And every day was a different theme: Monday - Music Days, Tuesday - Guest Day, Wednesday - Anything Can Happen Day, Thursday - Party Day, Friday - Hall of Fame Day.

Even if you didn't watch the MMC, you've more than likely seen some of the cast. Many of the boys and girls from the various seasons are still in the limelight today. If you watched the show religiously like me, you will already know who they are. If you didn't, here is a list:

Christina Aguilerra - 4 time Grammy winner; about to have a baby

Britney Spears - 1 time Grammy winner (yes, she actually won a Grammy for Toxic); you pretty much know the rest of what's going on with this mess

Justin Timberlake - 4 time Grammy winner; starring in the upcoming films Southland Tales and The Love Guru; long lost twin of the boycotter.

J.C. Chasez - Has an soon to be released album; co-wrote and sings backup on 2 songs and from Jonatha Brooke's latest album

Ryan Gosling - My number 3 favorite actor and number 2 actor I have a crush on; Nominated for an Oscar for Best Male Actor for his performance in one of the best movies of 2006, Half Neslon (This is a must see.)

Tony Lucca - currently touring and still a hotty. Take a listen.

Keri Russell - Recently received rave reviews for her performance in Waitress; Is starring in the upcoming films The Girl in the Park, Butterfly: a Grimm Love Story, and August, which is also getting a lot of hype; she just had a baby and is married to one hot piece.
